If I were to advertise one of the most important aspects of my life it would be balance. I strongly believe that in order to be happy and successful one must achieve balance in their personal life.
At this stage in my life I am constantly aiming to find balance between work and play. Although I enjoy my career I often daydream about what a life without responsibilities and checklists would be like. The left side of the scale represents my career, school, and desired financial gain. The right side of the scale represents, my family, friends, and love. Happiness is written down the middle of the scale. This represents what I hope to accomplish when the scales are even.
Although the scale may lean slightly from one side to the other from time to time, as long as I can find my way back to the center I am confident I will be happy and lead a positive life.
I chose to use a lot of White Space. I also think there is a Contrast between the bold, black font and the white background. I think this solidifies what I value. The ad does not have a lot of clutter. Even the scale is sleek and silver.
I also chose Balance, centering the scale and my name. Balance being the theme of my ad, it only made sense to me that the content should compliment the meaning behind it.
